Managing Partner, Ayla Maloney, and Partner, Jeff Wilbanks, are leading the crucial HR search.

The Director of HR Operations will plays a central role in enabling MITRE’s HR organization to operate effectively at scale. Reporting into the CHRO, this role oversees the infrastructure, systems, and service delivery model that support more than 7,500 employees across the enterprise. The Director leads several core operational pillars including HRIS, People Analytics, the HR Service Center and manages a team of approximately 25 professionals responsible for the platforms, reporting, and shared-service capabilities that underpin HR service delivery.
This role also serves as a key operational integrator across the HR leadership team, ensuring that HR strategy is translated into execution through standardized processes, technology, and data-driven insights. The Director will help strengthen HR’s operating model by improving the effectiveness of systems such as Workday, advancing workforce analytics capabilities, and bringing structure to enterprise processes that enable HR leaders to operate more efficiently and cohesively.
