
DEERFIELD, IL – Walgreens, a longstanding national pharmacy and retail organization operating thousands of locations across the United States, has selected The Christopher Group to lead their Senior Director, HR Technology Strategy search. Managing Partner, Nat Schiffer and Partner, Jeff Wilbanks are leading the critical HR search.

The Senior Director, HR Technology Strategy is an enterprise leadership role responsible for defining and executing a multi-year HR technology vision that aligns with business priorities and enhances the employee and manager experience. Serving as the executive product owner for core HR platforms, this leader will drive roadmap development, governance, system optimization, and cross-functional delivery across HR, IT, and external partners. The role focuses on modernizing and harmonizing HR systems, strengthening digital experiences, and ensuring scalable, compliant, and secure solutions that enable operational efficiency. Ideal candidates bring deep expertise in enterprise HR platforms, governance and portfolio management, and the ability to lead complex transformations while influencing senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
