SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Kiva, the world’s first online lending platform, has appointed Don Carter as their new Executive Vice President of People and Places. This critical search was led and placed by Managing Directors, Nat Schiffer, and Pam Noble.
“Working with Pam and TCG exceeded my expectations,” said Don Carter. “I found their approach in presenting the Kiva opportunity to me, providing timely feedback, and keeping me abreast of the process was extremely professional and made for a more positive candidate experience.”
Mr. Carter will be responsible for the People function (including Recruiting, DEI, People Ops, and People Business Partners) as well as the Facilities function that together encompass the entire employee lifecycle. He will drive the vision and strategy of the People & Places team along with all related implementation, ensuring Kivans have all they need to deliver on our goals, in service of their mission and long-term vision.
“Kiva had several critical goals that they wanted to accomplish on this search,” said Nat Schiffer. “They wanted their stakeholders to really play a leading role in the selection of their next EVP of People & Places and they placed a meaningful premium on DEI capabilities, global experience, and empathy. Given their highly global composition empathy was at the forefront of their needs and perhaps above all they wanted someone who truly connected with the KIVA mission and values. Pam Noble was instrumental in bringing all of this to life for Kiva in the recruiting of Don Carter. Congratulations to all!”
Mr. Carter has enjoyed a stellar 30+ year career with roles held with companies such as United Airlines, Motorola Mobility, US Army, BriTay International, Career/Match, US Airways, Navistar, E.ON, Kelly Scott Madison, Zebra Technologies, and MatchJack.
