FORT WORTH, TX – Alcon, a global leader in eye care, has appointed Laura K. Minteer as their new Director of Organizational Development. This critical search was led and placed by Managing Director, Nat Schiffer.
“It was a pleasure to work on behalf of Alcon again and specifically with Bari Hogue, the hiring authority who I placed at Alcon many years ago,” said Nat Schiffer. “Organizational Development / Effectiveness searches are a niche within our industry and one our firm has excelled in for many years. We understood the accountabilities of the function that Bari was looking for to build within Alcon and perhaps more importantly where to hunt for the talent. Laura Minteer brings a vast toolkit of capability from her years at Raytheon and others. She will be a great resource for Alcon.”
Minteer will be responsible for the assessment, design, and execution of innovative solutions to build the Alcon infrastructure through diverse talent, teams and by strengthening organizational effectiveness to deliver on customer and patient outcomes. She will collaborate with executive leaders, senior leaders, and the HR community to design and deliver organizational effectiveness initiatives to deliver on Alcon’s business strategy including org design, change management, team effectiveness, succession planning, executive coaching, etc.
Minteer brings over 13+ years of experience to Alcon. She has held previous roles at Bank of America, Texas Instruments, Raytheon, and Raytheon Technologies.
