CLEVELAND, OH – Park Place Technologies, a global third-party maintenance leader for server, storage, and network hardware, has appointed Bob Sims as their new Chief Human Resources Officer. This critical search was led and placed by Managing Director, Nat Schiffer and Managing Director, Pam Noble.
Bob brings over 30+ years of experience from Frito Lay, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Pepsi, Diageo, and Eaton Corporation. He was most recently the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at Oshkosh Corporation.
“It is great to welcome Bob and his wife Linda back to Cleveland. I know first hand how excited they about returning to Cleveland,” said Nat Schiffer. “I am equally excited for Park Place Technologies as Bob is going to make a huge impact in helping them integrate the Curvature acquisition as well in continuing to enable Park Place to scale. Additionally, this highlights our capability to tap into long-standing relationships that are willing to make the change from traditional fortune-sized companies and make the transition to Venture-Backed or in this case P/E-Backed organizations with incredible growth prospects.”
Mr. Sims will support the company’s global growth and development. He will work very closely with the CEO and other senior team members to help drive and implement a customer-centric and results-oriented people strategy that will guide the evolution of the company in line with the strategic direction.
