SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – Rackspace Technology, a leading global provider of managed cloud services and multi-cloud solutions, has placed Joseph Cerri as their new Vice President of Total Rewards. Managing Partner, Nat Schiffer and Recruiting Director, Kristen Perez led and placed the crucial search.
“Kellie Teal-Guess has been a client and candidate many times over. As such, the responsibility to meet her expectations is one that we take very seriously. It was a tremendous honor to partner with her on her Head of Total Rewards search. There continues to be a very real supply and demand imbalance for Senior Total Rewards leaders in the United States. In many cases our relationships span decades, and it makes fulfilling these very difficult searches a bit easier. Congratulations to Rackspace, Kellie, and Joseph!” shared Nat Schiffer, Managing Partner at TCG.
As the VP of Total Rewards, Joseph will hold the pivotal responsibility of shaping the employee experience through strategic compensation and benefits initiatives. His role will transcend mere compensation and benefits; it will be about fostering a culture where every individual feels valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best. By designing comprehensive rewards programs that align with Rackspace’s mission and values, Joseph will not only attract top talent but also inspire retention and engagement across the organization. His expertise in crafting competitive salary structures, innovative incentive plans, and robust wellness programs will ensure that Rackspace remains an employer of choice in a competitive market landscape.
“Kristen Perez was an incredible partner in placing me as the Vice President of Total Rewards at Rackspace Technology. The recruiting process was seamless, and the onboarding experience at Rackspace felt like I was coming home.” shared Joseph Cerri.
Joseph Cerri brings over 15 years of experience in global total rewards leadership. Prior to joining Rackspace, he served as Vice President of Total Rewards at OPENLANE, where he led global compensation, benefits, and HR operations initiatives. Joseph’s extensive background also includes roles at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Prysmian Group, Whirlpool Corporation, Humana, and Northrop Grumman, where he developed expertise in executive and broad-based compensation, benefits, global mobility, HRIS, and payroll.
