DENVER, CO– Woodward, an independent designer, manufacturer and service provider of energy control and optimization solutions for aerospace and industrial markets, has placed Laura Troudt as their new Compensation Manager. Managing Partner, Nat Schiffer and Recruiting Director, Carrie Longmire led and placed the crucial search.

As the Manager of Compensation at Woodward, Laura will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s compensation programs align effectively with business objectives. She will help design and deliver the enterprise-wide market pay process, establishing and enhancing standards in areas such as compensation surveys, data analysis, salary structure development, and salary planning. In this role, Laura will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of market-based compensation programs, including base/fixed pay, hourly, and sales comp, she will be a key leader within the Total Rewards team, and play the key role in the execution of the annual compensation programs. Laura will ensure seamless alignment between program design and delivery while continuously driving improvement in our compensation processes and standards.
Laura Troudt brings over two decades of experience in compensation management and HR technology. She most recently served as Compensation Manager at Maxar Technologies, where she led compensation processes and developed innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent. Laura’s expertise includes managing Workday system implementations and aligning HR projects with business strategies, ensuring that companies remain competitive in the evolving market.
Prior to Maxar, Laura held leadership roles at Ardent Mills and ConAgra Foods, where she managed HRIS and compensation processes, focusing on optimizing systems for efficiency and user adoption. Her extensive background in compensation and project management, along with her passion for HR technology, makes her a valuable asset to Woodward.
