BRISTOL, TN – Contura Energy has selected The Christopher Group to lead their Director of Human Resources search. Vice President and Managing Partner, Jacob Humbert, Recruiting Manager, Ayla Davis, and Operations Manager, Matt Duda will be leading the search.
Contura Energy is a Tennessee-based coal supplier with affiliate mining operations across major coal basins in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Director of Human Resources will work with the Vice President of Human Resources and other members of the management team to build and manage the companies overall Human Resources functions. This position oversees policies covering employment, daily payroll reporting, hourly and salary compensation, benefits, performance, company procedures and policies, and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
